Program Features

Morning Chizuk

(Morning Strength) with Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser (M-Th 7:30am). This 1-3 minute segment features world renown lecturer and “Chizuk Master” Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser. The topics vary but are always timely and relevant. The segment concludes with a story that ties the whole thing togeth.

The Neshoma Show

with Norman Laster (F 7-7:30am). Norman brings his unique talents to bear as he presents Yiddish and Cantorial music. Norman has been with the program longer than anyone else. His experience in this area is unmatched. His reminder to “light those Shabbos candles” is one of his trademarks.

The Weekly Torah Portion

with Rabbi Benjamin Yudin (F8:15-8:25am). This feature, which appears each Erev Shabbos and Yom Tov, covers the weekly Torah portion as well as relevant holiday and special information. Rabbi Yudin has been a practicing Rabbi for over 30 years. His “this week we have the privilege of reading…” opening and “Shabbat Shalom to all” closing are signatures of the program.

The Community Calendar

(Continuous feature) No other media outlet publicizes more events then does JM in the AM. Countless public fund raising events can trace their success back to the word spread by the program. Events are announced as needed.

Fast Day Focus

with Rabbi Elchanan Weinbach. Six times each year Jews around the world observe special days of fasting and prayer. On five of these days (Yom Kippur Excluded) Rabbi Weinbach joins us to discuss the origin and significance of these days.
